This Privacy Policy explains how HUDO AI, LLC, doing business as Booked Contractor ("Booked Contractor," "we," "us" or "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit bookedcontractor.co and its related pages (the "Site"), fill out our forms or surveys, book a call with us, communicate with us by phone, text message or email, or use our services (together, the "Services").

Booked Contractor provides marketing and appointment booking services to home service businesses. Our Services are intended for business owners and their teams, not for consumers or children.

By using the Site or the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out our application survey, book a call, contact us or become a client, we may collect:

  • Contact details: name, business name, mobile phone number, email address.
  • Business details: your trade or industry, company revenue range, team size, monthly advertising budget, service area and similar information you choose to share.
  • Communication preferences and consent records, including whether you agreed to receive text messages and when.
  • Anything you include in messages, calls or meetings with us.
  • For clients: billing contact details and information needed to run campaigns, such as ad account access, brand assets, service areas and offers.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, time zone, pages viewed, time on page and referring URL.
  • Advertising and attribution data, such as UTM parameters, campaign, ad set and ad identifiers, placement, and click identifiers (for example, Meta's fbclid and Google's gclid).
  • Cookie and similar identifiers, such as the Meta Pixel cookies (_fbp and _fbc) and Google Analytics cookies.

Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from advertising platforms (for example, when you submit a lead form on Meta), from publicly available business sources, and from our clients when we provide Services to them.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our systems. Stripe's use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Review your application and decide whether our Services are a fit for your business.
  • Contact you about your application, schedule and confirm calls, send reminders and follow up on your inquiry by phone, text message and email.
  • Provide, operate and improve our Services, including running advertising campaigns and booking appointments for our clients.
  • Send you marketing communications about our Services, where permitted by law and, for text messages, only with your express consent.
  • Measure and improve our advertising, including attributing results to specific campaigns and ads, and building audiences on advertising platforms.
  • Process payments and manage client accounts.
  • Protect our business, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Use of artificial intelligence. We use artificial intelligence tools, including services provided by Anthropic, OpenAI and similar providers, to help us respond to inquiries, qualify leads, draft and send messages, summarize conversations, analyze data and support business decisions. Some of the messages you receive from us may be written or sent with the help of AI. We use these providers under their business or API terms and, where the provider offers the option, we configure them so that our data is not used to train their public models. 3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your mobile phone number or your text message consent with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with service providers that help us send and deliver the messages you asked to receive.

We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers that process information on our behalf and under our instructions, including: GoHighLevel (CRM, forms, calendar, email and text messaging), Google (Workspace, Google Meet, Google Analytics 4 and related tools), Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel, Conversions API and advertising), Stripe (payments), Appointwise and other AI appointment tools, AI providers such as Anthropic and OpenAI, telecommunications carriers, and analytics or attribution tools we may add from time to time.
  • Advertising platforms. We send event data (for example, that someone viewed a page, submitted an application or booked a call) to platforms like Meta and Google to measure and improve our ads. Where we send contact details for matching, they are hashed (encrypted) before they are sent.
  • Our clients. If you are a homeowner who responds to an ad we run for one of our clients, we share your information with that client so they can provide the estimate or service you requested.
  • Legal and safety reasons. When required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies, pixels and advertising

We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Site, remember attribution data for up to 90 days and measure the performance of our advertising.

5. Text messages

If you check the box to receive text messages, you agree to receive messages from Booked Contractor at the number you provided, as described in our SMS Terms at https://bookedcontractor.co/sms-terms. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

6. Calls and recordings

We may record calls and video meetings for quality, training and note-taking purposes. We will tell you at the start of the call when a call is being recorded, and you may ask us not to record.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to maintain business records, meet legal and tax obligations and resolve disputes. Application data from businesses that do not become clients is generally kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Records of text message consent and opt-outs are kept for at least 5 years.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls and two-factor authentication on the systems we use. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International processing

We are based in the United States. Members of our team and some of our service providers may access or process information from other countries. Where information is transferred, we take reasonable steps to protect it consistent with this Privacy Policy.

10. Your choices and rights

You can:

  • Opt out of emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email.
  • Opt out of text messages by replying STOP.
  • Request access, correction or deletion of your personal information by emailing info@bookedcontractor.co with the subject line "Privacy request."

We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law, generally within 45 days. We may keep certain information when the law requires or allows it, such as consent records and transaction records.

California and other US state residents. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email info@bookedcontractor.co. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask for proof of that authorization.

11. Children

Our Site and Services are for businesses and people 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Links to other sites

The Site may link to websites and services we do not control, such as calendars, video meeting tools and social networks. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site or communicated by email where appropriate.
