Questions contractors ask us

Who is Booked Contractor for?

Roofers and roofing companies, plus HVAC, plumbing, windows and doors, and remodeling companies doing $1M+ a year. You need someone who runs estimates and closes, and at least $3,000 a month to invest in ads.

How is this different from buying leads on Angi or HomeAdvisor?

Lead sites sell the same homeowner to several contractors and charge you for the lead, even if they never answer. We run ads only for you in your area, contact the homeowner in under a minute, qualify and book them on your calendar, and you pay only when they actually sit down with your team.

What does "you only pay when the homeowner sits down" mean?

After a one-time setup fee, you pay a flat fee per appointment where the homeowner was there and met your team, in person or on a scheduled video estimate. No monthly retainer, and no charge for leads or for appointments that didn't happen.

What counts as a no-show, and do I pay for it?

A no-show is a booked homeowner who wasn't there and didn't meet your team. You don't pay for no-shows. You mark each appointment within 48 hours; unmarked appointments count as showed. We can check calls and messages in the system if there's ever a question.

Do you work with my competitors?

No. We take one company per trade, per city. If we work with you, your local competitors in the same trade can't hire us.

Whose ad account is it, and who pays for ads?

Yours. Ads run on your own Meta ad account and you pay Meta directly. We manage the campaigns with partner access, and the account and its history stay with you.

How much should I budget for ads?

At least $3,000 a month, paid directly to Meta. More budget means more appointments, but we start where the numbers work and scale what closes.

How fast can we go live?

Usually 4 to 7 days after you sign, as long as we get your access and information on time. We launch with ads that already work for other contractors in your trade.

Who calls the leads, you or my team?

Our system reaches every new lead in under a minute with a text, an email and a call, and books them on your calendar. When a homeowner needs a person, your team gets an alert to call right away. Your team runs the appointments and closes.

Do I need to sign a long contract?

There's no long lock-in. Terms, including notice and an exit call, are in a simple written service agreement you see before you sign.

What areas do you serve?

Anywhere in the United States where your trade is still open in your city. We work with one company per trade in each market.

How do I get started?

Answer a few questions (about 60 seconds) to check if your market is open, then book a 30-minute strategy call. We'll look at your market and your numbers and tell you honestly if it's a fit.
